I’m Luiz Viana, a systems engineer dedicated to open source and open standards. I live in Ireland.

The kind of projects I work with varies over time. I’ve been working in distributed systems, platform engineering, infrastructure, and SRE in recent years.

Open source, operating systems and networking are some of my primary interests.

Many people know me as “jovem”. I got that nickname from my friends a long time ago and decided to stick with it.
